Are you social distancing?  Um, yah.... Broke all THOSE rules today! Sigh... I realized today just how poorly the whole social distancing thing is being executed where I work. We complain a lot about the customers.... But, it's actually my coworkers who invade my space the most. "You're fine, you don't need to put your mask on, I'm not worried...." Really?? You may not be worried, but, I am! We now have seven confirmed positive cases where I work and your cruising around in my office, leaning over my shoulder to see what I've got on my screen and "I" don't need to put my mask on because you don't think I'm contaminated with COVID. How do I know that YOU aren't carrying it?? Five of those COVID cases are all from one department because... They weren't worried about catching it from each other. Beautiful! |

Yep, that's how it gets spread. I cancelled my Amazon Prime membership last month. They haven't delivered anything in a reasonable time since this mess started so why should I pay for the 2nd day delivery. I don't use any of the other Prime features and the quick delivery was the only reason I had it. I understand the situation and delays in delivery but not enough to keep on paying for it, I should have cancelled way back last May/June when they flat out failed to deliver my Grandchildrens birthday presents even after over three weeks. They charged me for the stuff two times then rehearsed the charges and never sent the things out. So I cancelled the order.  The only part of the order they managed to deliver was the paints and some brush sponge painting accessories.

Amazon can go suck it. Gotta work harder on the credit card part. Just spent $200 for cold weather gear. How it got to $200, not sure because the average price was $17 before tax. My fridge can go suck it too. I keep opening it so it’ll give me cooked food, but so far no good. 😁 Thankfully, my main job has a one week in, one week out schedule for people who need to be in the office. The rest like me got marching orders, fancy tablets, a stern talking to about production and documenting your work and told “see you when we see you, kbai”. To my knowledge, only one person in a department of more than 200 employees contracted it so far and the whole building got shut down for 2 days to get cleaned. And when I go to clients, I’m masked up and have gloves on. Some of them get weird about it, but meh

Hey I’m Mexican. Well partly. Oh wait. I’m not edible. Whew! But yeah people who think they are impervious usually find that delusion challenged. Not to make light of those we have lost to covid (one relative and friend here) but does anyone else harbor the truly macabre thought that this virus was meant to cull the insipid from the herd? I know. It’s plain Wrong of me I have seen so many instances of people not social distancing it makes me worry about the lack of common sense or courtesy we humans seem to exhibit. I don’t want to risk my health or inadvertently be a carrier. I may be crazy but I’m not that crazy. Yet.

Well... that sucks. Yep... that truly does. How long can you hold your breath in a room full of people. That's why smoking is bad for you. I can hold my breath for over two minutes... if I practise... again. I was going for my scuba license - which I never got. You? 🤔

I see a lot of people in close contact but everyone is good about wearing a mask. So far we haven't had any known cases since last summer when we had 1.

I'm pretty sure I saw an article about research showing that jalapenos help destroy the virus, so eating Mexican food would be beneficial to you and possibly keep you from getting COVID-19. Ooohhh....and you could have a Corona with it!
