Visiting Foreign Lands
One of the challenges we face when we travel is language barriers. I'm experiencing right now while living in Hungary. That brings me my question for this poll...

Would you date a person you could not communicate with verbally?
Yes, talking is over rated.
Yes, if there is going to be sex involved.
Maybe, if they are incredibly attractive.
Maybe, if there is a strong mutual attraction.
No, I need to be able to talk to the person I'm with.

 I dated a Japanese woman whose English was limited - my Japanese was non-existent - and, though things started well, the relationship didn't last because of communication issues.
The Hungarian language is very difficult to understand; it's not that linked to other languages like German, Spanish, French, Russian or English. When I visited Budapest I struggled to read a menu; I needed pictures of the dishes!
I believe the language closest to Hungarian strangely is Finnish!
